Old Dutch Hall of Justice

This beautiful old building was the center of Dutch colonial control. After touring the antiques filled rooms , offices, and dungeons, I question how much justice was delivered to the local population. The Indonesian family I was with commented that Indonesians are happy to have colonial powers ( Japs and Dutch) gone. The huge Dutch bookcase was for business filing. It dates from 1700.
