Old city center Jakarta

We spent the day in the old Dutch seaport area of Jakarta. These 350 year old buildings were used by the Dutch for storing spices and slaves before shipment to the west, they were used continually until WW2 when invading Japs used them for military depots. They have been converted to museum space. They were sweltering hot inside.
