Hindu temple in the mountains

Our Hindu driver asked if we wanted to see a Hindu temple on a very special day of prayer and celebration. We said of course! He said as non Hindus, we must follow some rules; #1 women must not be menstrating, #2 We both had to cover our legs by wearing a sarung, ( we had shorts on) # 3 we must stay in the back. The priest is the old guy up in the covered building wearing a white shirt. Women brought him offerings. He chanted prayers in Sandskrit. It was quite a scene, everybody ignored us .
