For packing purposes, I rolled up the 40 t-shirts to be given away in large ziplock bags. As I handed out the shirts, the villagers immediately recognized the value of the bags. Although they had never seen a ziplock , they wanted them almost as much as the t-shirts . Ahhhhh, what we take for granted. Tomorrow we head into the mountains to Ubud, the arts and craft center of Bali

ReplyDeleteRight? I would imagine simple things like that would prove to be quite a luxury in a way. Makes you reconsider what we consider to be "essential" items...
