Monkeys

We visited another Temple today, it was in a patch of jungle in the center of the town. Monkeys were everywhere. The ones that look dead are just sleeping in the middle of sidewalks. Peddlers were selling bananas to feed the monkeys. After seeing the monkeys behavior, we were glad we didn't get involved. They were climbing up peoples legs and grabbing the fruit . We found the females and young cute. They were all completely fearless. The females and young were all afraid of the big males who swaggered around intimidating all ( including humans ). We kept our distance from the males, they were a bit scary. I would guess the males weighed 35-40 lbs
