Amman Jordan

We are in Amman , Jordan waiting for a flight to Istanbul . We flew here on Royal Jordanian Airlines from Hong Kong, a 9 hour flight. 4 Arab men in shiny black suits boarded the plane in front of us without showing tickets, etc. one sat by the pilots cabin door, one sat next to us in Business Class and the other two in coach. I used the bathroom at 3 AM and the guy by the pilot carefully watched me, when he leaned over I saw a gun in his belt. Security at the Amman airport was tight, they all seemed paranoid, ( in shiny black suits ). Apparently the Arab Spring has made the King of Jordan nervous. The gleaming new airport is beautiful. Women had a separate security line. We are only 25 miles from Syria.
