Chania waterfront

The waterfront was empty at sunrise. It was Sunday morning , the beginning of a hot day ( 94 predicted ). The light house is Venitian, it is lite by floodlights at nite giving the harbour a beautiful look. The Mosque has survived as has most of the old houses. I noticed they are still lived in by the locals. Unlike Turkey, the merchants are friendly, not aggressive,and bargaining is not practiced, which is refreshing .
